Notes from Antioch College’s December 9, 2021 Board of Trustees meeting: reports from Bob McKee (VP Finance & Administration) on the FY21 close-out (auditors anticipating zero findings), cash flow improvements, the Wellness Center’s January opening, and a review of systems and outside-service contracts; an Advancement update from President Fernandes (50% toward the $4M FY22 goal, a planned-giving campaign, a phone-a-thon for lapsed donors, an $80,000 anonymous gift for the Antioch Farm, and a $250,000 challenge grant from trustee Shay Meyer and Kenneth Parsegian); and Fernandes’ nine goals for the coming year, including submitting a comprehensive response to the Higher Learning Commission and strengthening DEI and social justice campus-wide.
