In response to the pandemic’s financial disruption, the Board of Trustees adopted a budget cutting spending by $2.5 million — more than 20 percent — eliminating eight non-teaching staff positions and six faculty positions. “The steps being taken are clearly painful and regrettable,” said President Tom Manley.
