WYSG PUBLIC RADIO
2007-08 First Quarter Performance
We aré préparing to celebrate WYSO’s 50″ Anniversary on the air.
TO begin the new FY, underwriting saies have brought in over $75,009.90 in
contracts for the first quarter. We are in a trial period with a joint underwriting sales
person with Dayton Public Radio which we anticipaie will increase sales while
lowering our costs. We have just been awarded a federal grant to replace our aging
Siudio equipment. WYSO ts building toward the future with plans for continued
growih in the Miami Valley with the possibility of partnerships with other
organizations. We are preparing for our Fail iembership Drive wnicn is our Diggest
fundraiser of the year.
We are continuing work with the Central Administration on ways to bring WYSO to a
breakeven budget. We will present a progress report at the winter BOT meeting in
February, 2008.
