Financial Analysis Planning Assumptions
For the period July 1, 2006 – June 30, 2014
• Tuition & Fees increased 5% annually
• Tuition discounts average 41 o~ of total tuition and fees including AEA and
other non-matriculating students. .
• First year and transfer student enrollment increases approximately 1oo~
annually and year to year student retention meets targeted goals. .
• Solicited operating funds unrestricted gifts increased by 7.5 % annually
from a FY07 base of$500,000 to a maximum of $800,000 in FY14
• Annualfund increases10% annuallyfrom a base of $1,000,000in FY07″1
to a maximum of $1 ,500,000 in FY12 ~
• Auxiliary enterprise income grows proportionately to the enrollment
growth and includes a5% increase to room and board rates annually with
no additional facilities added to residence halls.
