I am writing to thank you and the other esteemed members ofthe Antioch University
Board of Trustees for your efforts to produce a sound strategy for the future of this
important institution.
I am encouraged by the recent discussions. They clearly indicate progress toward an
agreement that advances the best interests of the students and employees of Antioch, as
well as the community to which it contributes so meaningfully.
I firmly believe that Antioch should continue to fulfill its vital educational mission with
no disruption, and I would be pleased to work with Chancellor Fingerhut and the Board
to help meet that crucial objective.
