A statement and petition from the Antioch College Action Network — a self-described independent collective of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and villagers organizing during the college’s 2007 closure. Calls on the university to immediately: establish a College Advisory Board with real authority, including hiring power over the College President; resume recruiting and admitting new and transfer students for Fall 2008; restore faculty tenure; maintain academic and support services during renovations; and commit to open, participatory, accountable decision-making.
