Michael Casselli shared the following on Facebook in July 2026.

“Bruce LeBel from the class of 76 canceled his flights to attend this 50th year reunion due to his dismay at the malfeasance of the current administration. This administration’s mendacity, rejection of written policies and procedures, and abrogation of deep Antioch traditions of shared governance, justice, fairness and integrity are deeply disheartening to Bruce LeBel. Bruce owns two business software enterprises, providing applications and services to larger manufacturers around the world. He has been a regular annual donor. He had committed to his development contact to make a major donation to Antioch College when he sells either of his businesses. That is now off the table so long as this administration is in place. Bruce asked that I share this message.”

“Jordan Tamagni, another donor from the class of 84, asked me to share this message: ‘I chose to attend Antioch because I believed in the values and principles it stood for. The administration’s recent actions regarding Michael Casselli, a tenured professor beloved by his students, is a violation of those values and principles. The denial of due process, the disregard of established and required procedures, and the general bad faith demonstrated by the administration is appalling. I informed the college development office that I would not consider donating again unless the administration addresses this miscarriage of justice immediately. Professor Casselli’s termination should be rescinded and he should be reinstated with backpay. Only then can I consider supporting the college again.’”
