VWP stands for Volunteer Work Project, a self-organized group of Antioch alumni and friends who return to campus to donate their time and skills. The Antioch College Alumni Association explains that volunteers gather for one week, four times each year, working on physical plant and administrative projects. Recent efforts include drywall repair, painting, library work, equipment maintenance, and weeding—during the July 2025 VWP, 46 volunteers contributed over 1,500 hours. The Winter 2026 VWP Update notes participants also tackle inventory, lighting surveys, and shop organization, with social hours and meals woven into the week.
